Boardman’s 3ds Max and VIZ video training series
Learning Autodesk’s 3ds Max and VIZ can be difficult. Ted Boardman, an award winning speaker and author of many 3ds Max books, offers a new solution to start your career off on the right foot, help you avoid bad habits, and to help you learn to take full advantage of this powerful software.
Ted Boardman, in conjunction with CADLearning.com, has introduced a new fundamental 3ds Max and VIZ video tutorial training series now available as streaming video and soon to be released on DVD. CADLearning.com has provided a powerful front end that allows you to navigate easily through the 125 lessons provided.
With over 7 hours of video lessons in this first Fundamental Modeling module you’ll learn not only how to model quickly and efficiently, but also how to take advantage of 3ds Max and VIZ core features to develop a flexible and productive workflow.
Ted uses 3ds Max 9 throughout the exercises, but the lessons have been designed to work in previous versions of 3ds Max and VIZ. You’ll learn to create several scenes of an island with a lighthouse tower and several buildings from scratch to provide you with an understanding of not only how, but also why you might choose one method or another in production. The exercises will be especially useful to architects and background artists, but the lessons learned can be easily adapted to other disciplines.
