Download the file called Pick_material.zip97 and extract it to your hard drive. Then double-click the HTML file to play the video back in your browser.
A collaborative workflow where other teams or coworkers are developing parts of a scene to be merged into a masterfile requires that you can manage materials effectively and Pick Material from Scene is an important tool to that end.
Good luck and have fun
Ted

Hi,
I think you should reolad the zip file because I can't see it on the list. Thanks and regards, Tami Re: Re: Video: Pick Material from Scene

Sorry about that Tami, I've just loaded it up again and it prompts that it will overwrite the existing. I'm not sure what's happening because I can see it here, but you might try refreshing your browser, too. Perhaps the list is cached. Thanks for letting me know. Hmm, if anyone else has successfully downloaded it could you let us know. That way we can determine if it's actually there as it seems. Do you see the files called Parkingstripes.zip and Pick_RCS.zip in the list Tami? We'll get to the bottom of it, Tami, thanks for working with me. Hi again,
Yes, I see both files but not the Pick Material one. Tami Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Video: Pick Material from Scene

That makes it even odder, Tami, and leaves me to believe it might be in the way your browser caches things, but we need to hear from someone who has downloaded it to make sure it's not just my machines that can see it. I've looked on each of the 3 machines in my office and it shows up. It's about 4MB and I can email it to you if your email handles that size file; just send me your email to tedb@tbmax.com . Thanks again Ted |
