Well, I'm back in the office from a great trip to Utrecht and Breda in Holland and Copenhagen, Denmark where I was doing some classes and lectures on 3ds max productivity tips. Thanks to Joep van der Steen, Walter Vestergaard, and Andy Paquette for making the tour possible.
I was also able to grab a few days for myself in Copenhagen, a city I'm very familiar with and always enjoy getting back to visiting. The trip up and back from Holland on the train is also a highlight of my traveling, having done the trip in one variation or another for the last 35 or so years. It's interesting to see the changes along the way while the food on the ferry from Puttgarten to Roedby Faere remains consistently bad and, these days, over priced. That, however, doesn't keep me from buying it as it's all part of the "experience" for me.
I'm cleaning up loose ends in the office and with some health issues for my mother and am off for the south of France tonight. This will be 2 weeks R&R in Avignon and Marseilles. I'll be very limited in email and general connectivity until Oct 14.
Hang in there; there are more tutorials on the way eventually, I promise.
Later

Hey Pim, Just back from Marseilles. Great seeing you too! And yes, my visit to Holland was better than ever. Ha, the drops were gone in 2 days!! :) But hold on until I see you again in the land of origin. I get them from China here and they are very different and I bought some in Denmark (salt-style) and those take some getting used to. :) By the way, for everyone else we are talking about black (real) licorice. Hope you can make it to Siggraph, Pim. Later Ted Trackbacks
