The Box Selective rendering method has been removed from 3ds max 2009 and Design 2009.  This means that my previous Parking Stripes tutorial so I've developed a method that accomplishes approximately the same thing by using Safe Frames in the new software.

I've broken the tutorial into two parts; Part one is a description of the problem and Part two is the tutorial itself. This will make it easier for people with slower connections to download. You will need to download 2009_Parking_stripes_part01.zip and 2009_Parking_stripes_part02.zip

and unzip them to your hard drive to play them in your browser.
