You still have to know the coverage of any custom maps to make either method work correctly, so I find it a much better learning tool to understand the underlying the concept behind how it all functions. Then you can use either method and they make sense for all maps situations. To me it's a matter of the importance of the fundamentals to help out of those situations that don't fit the "automatic-ness" of real world sizes. But the end result is the same so as long as you can make it work...it's great! :) Thanks very much for the comment and your interest in the blog. Ted
