>>What,s your take on Sketchup ???<< Oooo, put me right out on a shaky limb, John! :) It's great for what it does...napkin sketches in 3D..., but I'm afraid it's taken on a life of it's own as the easy way to get the job done; which of course it isn't really. I think it needs to find it's niche a little better and become more compatible with other tools. With Google behind it it could become a force to reckon with eventually, but I don't see that as their goal at this point. I does have the effect of showing Autodesk, etc what can be done with a simple program in terms of workflow and that may have a positive effect on the future of all tools. Use it where appropriate is my suggestion when asked. :) Good question and thanks. Ted
